Wright Taxis are please to announced we’ve been chosen by Scotrail’s new emergency transport provider, Abellio Rail Replacement

This new contract will allow our pool of Drivers to assist with Scotrail and other rail companies when train services are disrupted or staff members need be transported between stations or depots.

Working hand in hand their 24/7 Operations centre will be in contact with us when needed and we can have taxis dispatched within a matters of minutes to anywhere from Glasgow to Fort William and anywhere in-between

In the first few days of working with Abellio we we’re tasked to go assist crew who were stuck in Crianlarich due to a fallen tree on the line. We mobilised taxis to the location asap and got the stranded train crew back to their base in Oban whilst passengers continued on their journey on coaches also provided by ARR

Local taxi firm, Wright Taxis are proud to announce our new successful partnership with Jet2.com & Jet2holidays – The UK’s friendly low fares airline.

The Locally owned taxi co will now become the main transport supplier for all of Jet2’s flight & cabin crew based at Glasgow International Airport which is a 20 minute drive from the company’s base in Alexandria’s Main Street in West Dunbartonshire. This contract will see drivers within the Wright Taxi Fleet delivering pilots and cabin crew members safely between all of Jet2’s bases across the United Kingdom from GLA (Glasgow Airport). As-well as delivering Pilots and Cabin crew to Jet2’s airport bases we’ve asked if we can provide transport for pilots who need to attend the company’s purpose built Training Academy in Bradford for refresher training too.

Wright Taxi’s have teamed up with Amsterdam based Taxi Butler to help enable and streamline our booking process for our customers at high booking venues. The new system allows our partner venues too book a taxi on behalf of the customer at the touch of button cutting out the need to call ahead. The Taxi butler will then also show a display indicating what car is coming and gives an accurate ETA via gps on when the car will be arriving.

Currently we have these devices located at Loch Lomond Arms, Duck Bay Hotel, Restaurant & Luxury Cottages , The Tullie Inn & The Queen of the Loch – Just ask the staff to order you a taxi and one our of drivers will be there ASAP to take you home or back to your accommodation
